Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is looking for you to join us as a Precision Electromechanical Assembler 2 based in Salt Lake City, UT.
What you'll get to do:
- Performs a variety of operations to assemble precision electromechanical products.
- Performs tasks such as drilling, reaming, burnishing, and tapping; uses precision measuring instruments to ensure conformance to specified tolerance. Assembles, disassembles, repairs and reassembles precision assemblies and corrects malfunctions.
- May assemble and modifies prototype precision units for engineering personnel.
- May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
The ideal candidate must be able to communicate, read, understand, work using a microscope, work with mechanical small parts, fiber optic cables, and follow standard operation procedures or assembly instructions.
Basic Qualifications for the Precision Electromechanical Assembler 2:
- High School diploma or equivalent with 2 years of relevant work experience
Preferred Qualifications for the Precision Electromechanical Assembler 2:
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Soldering certification or experience
- Previous experience working closely with Test and Manufacturing techs/engineers
- Experience using a microscope
- Experience with Fiber Optic Cables
- Experience with mechanical small parts
