Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history.Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is looking for a Precision Electromechanical Assembler 2 (2nd Shift) located in Salt Lake City, UT.
What you'll get to do:
Performs a variety of operations to assemble precision electromechanical products.
Performs tasks such as drilling, reaming, burnishing, and tapping; uses precision measuring instruments to ensure conformance to specified tolerance. Assembles, disassembles, repairs and reassembles precision assemblies and corrects malfunctions.
May assemble and modifies prototype precision units for engineering personnel.
May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
The ideal candidate must be able to communicate, read, understand, work under a microscope, work with mechanical small parts, fiber optic cables, and follow standard operation procedures or assembly instructions.
Basic Qualifications for the Precision Electromechanical Assembler 2 (2nd Shift):
High School diploma or equivalent with 2 years of experience.
Must be available for 2nd shift.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment.
Soldering certification or experience.
Previous experience working closely with Test and Manufacturing techs/engineers.
Experience using a microscope.
Experience with Fiber Optic Cables.
Experience with mechanical small parts.
