Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Deployable Aircraft Inspector 3 for a rotational OCONUS program based at Beale AFB, CA.
You will inspect aircraft systems, equipment and parts for operation and conformance to government and company standards and specifications. Inspect the adjustments, repairs, or modifications made on the aircraft. May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures. May communicate directly with customers to ensure customer satisfaction.
Basic Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent and 4 years additional education and/or related experience.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite to include but not limited to Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook.
- Must be willing to work a flexible work schedule that may include extended shifts, holidays, and weekends and support on call status for 24 hours-a-day, 7 days-a-week, 365 days a year.
- Must have and maintain a valid U.S. passport.
- Accept customer furnished quarters for a period up to 120 days away from primary work location and comply with mobility requirements.
- Ability to meet medical requirements and pass a physical for worldwide travel.
- Must have an active DoD Secret or higher (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation).
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance within a reasonable period of time, as determined by business needs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Current DoD Top Secret clearance.
- Operational experience is preferred over manufacturing or production.
- Airframe & Powerplant License preferred.
