Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is looking for you to join our team as a Contract Administrator based out of Linthicum, MD to support the Tactical Fighters Business Unit’s (TF BU) F-35 Radar Production Contracts team. This position will be full-time on-site.

What You’ll get to Do:

The successful candidate will be a direct report to the F-35 Radar Production & Development Operating Unit (OU) Contracts Manager and will work closely on a day-to-day basis with Program Management, Business Management, Global Supply Chain, and other functional teams throughout the OU.

Roles and responsibilities:

• Administers, extends, negotiates and terminates standard and nonstandard contracts.

• Conducts proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications.

• Prepares bids; processes specifications, progress, and other reports.

• Compiles and analyzes data.

• Maintains historical information.

The successful candidate will have strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with internal and external customers, and the ability to efficiently and effectively research and locate FAR/DFARS information.

Basic Qualifications for Contract Administrator:

• Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of experience in contracts or related field; OR a Master’s and 1 year of experience in contracts or related field. Will consider 6 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree requirement.

• Experience with various contract types such as Time & Material, Cost types, Firm Fixed Price, Other Transactions, etc.

• Experience with analyzing regulatory changes and their impact on contracts/subcontracts.

• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically PowerPoint

• U.S. Citizenship required.

• The ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with FAR/DFARS

• A current/active DoD Secret clearance.

• Experience in the Defense / Aerospace Industry

Primary Level Salary Range: $72,400.00 - $108,600.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
