This requisition is a level 1. Primary location would be Melbourne, FL.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
This position is for an application administrator that supports the Enterprise-wide applications. Supports, maintains, and/or resolves incidents in the system and its applications. Involved in planning of system maintenance and upgrade deployments and responsible for meeting software compliance standards. Performs or supports testing and maintenance of system, ensuring documentation of all system corrections. Performs root cause analysis, debugging problems within multi-environment, and working with technical teams to develop, test and implement system fixes. Supporting software development scrum master role across multiple classified programs. Works effectively as a self-starter within a team environment that is located across the country. Ability to support multiple projects concurrently based on priority and demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Basic Qualifications:
Associate degree in a STEM field with 2 years of experience OR Bachelor's Degree with 0 years of experience OR 4 years of experience in lieu of a degree
Basic troubleshooting skills
US citizen, with ability to obtain an DOD active Secret clearance.
Ability to obtain and maintain DoD 8570 certification, such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or similar network/security certifications 90 days from hire date.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree
Excellent communication skills
Experience with web applications and administration
Scrum Master or Project Management Experience
AWS or Azure certification preferred
Familiarity with the following: Windows Server OS J2EE web application servers (JBoss / Tomcat / Websphere / Weblogic) Batch / Script programming (DOS, Powershell, Perl) Active Directory configuration and GPOs Cloud / VM / VDI configuration Technical writing
Current DOD Secret clearance
Current CompTIA Security+ certification
