Founding Business Development Representative

About the Role

As a Founding BDR, you’ll help build Newton’s outbound sales engine from the ground up. This is a pure outbound role for someone hungry to break into early-stage SaaS and learn how to sell.

  • Dial to set: Make 90+ calls/day to book at least 3 qualified demos.
  • Set to complete: Work closely with AEs to ensure demos show—and convert.
  • Take the show on the road: Represent Newton at conferences and trade shows to generate leads and close deals in-person.

About You

  • Hungry & scrappy: You are willing to do whatever it takes to win, including the unglamorous work that moves the company forward.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity – You stay calm when things are unclear and help create structure where there is none.
  • Act like an owner: You think long-term, take pride in your work, and help shape the culture of an ambitious early-stage team.

We are in-person, in our Lehi, UT office. In addition to competitive salary and equity, we offer health, dental, and vision. OTE for this role is $90K with uncapped comission.
