Job Description
Summary
Serves as the Chief of the Customer Engagement Office for Office of the CIO at NASA Kennedy Space Center. Leads the Center CIO Customer Engagement Office for the KSC Center CIO Office. Partners with Center Customers, OCIO Service Lines, and Agency Level Offices to ensure successful delivery of IT services to Center programs, projects, missions and mission support customers. Partners to obtain resources, identifies strategic organizational objectives and defines technical requirements.

Duties
- Ensures IT service administration is in alignment with Mission and Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) IT policies, processes, and procedures are meet.
- Serves as the operational integration representative supporting the KSC Chief Information Officer (CIO) and IT related Customer/Mission planning, risk, and strategy requirements.
- Monitors and reports on the status and progress of team member’s work, checking on work in progress and reviewing completed work to see that the supervisor’s instructions on work priorities, methods, deadlines, and quality have been met.
- Serves as the IT advisor to the customer organization, providing expert IT Customer Services knowledge and understanding of OCIO services to develop/partner solutions for the customer organization, services, communications, KSC, Agency, and programs.
- Serves as a leader and Liaison for implementation of Center initiatives and requirements locally and navigation to Enterprise services.
- Ensures the organization’s strategic plan, mission, vision and values are communicated and integrated into the team’s strategies, goals, objectives, and work.
- Perform a full range of supervisory duties which includes assigning and evaluating work; recommending personnel actions; taking disciplinary actions; and identifying training needs and developing employees.

- Current Federal employees must meet qualifications, time in grade, and 90 days after competitive appointment requirements by the closing date of the announcement.

Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work.
To qualify for GS-15, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 level:
- Working across multiple disciplines, such as CIO services, customer requirements and partnering, business strategies, tactical planning for an organization;
- Collaborating cross-organizationally to build relationships and plan and deliver IT service delivery operations;
- Leading the delivery of IT learning experience and creating a work environment that supports IT initiatives;
IF you are qualifying based on experience, you MUST also have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below:
