About the role
Muon seeks a SAP Implementation Manager to join our Information Systems team. The ideal candidate brings a track record of success in large-scale ERP transitions, alongside the ability to seamlessly coordinate internal and external resources and maintain clear communication with all stakeholders.
Information Systems owns the comprehensive suite of custom software, vendor software, data platforms and automated tools that will enable various teams to work more rapidly, our factories to build efficiently, and our launch teams to operate flawlessly.
This position is hybrid and requires working on-site in our San Jose, CA office three days per week.
Responsibilities
- Lead the greenfield migration of current financial tools and processes to SAP.
- Possesses executive presence with the ability to lead discussions with senior leadership and the board
- Demonstrated PMO and ERP history of successfully steering finance and ERP systems to go-live
- Communicates effectively across levels, maintaining fluency with both corporate executives and line IT/finance personnel
- Exhibits sound, logical, and transparent judgment to maintain strict scope discipline and unblock issues and challenges that will inevitably pop-up
- Capable of reducing friction, pushing back, deferring requests and saving team’s time by learning the tools, product, people and processes to fill in the gaps
- Establish project governance, steering committee structures, and executive reporting processes
- Supports the deployment and integration of foundational systems—including custom ERP, MES, PLM, and Supply Chain—to automate inter-functional handoffs and ensure seamless connectivity
Qualifications
- B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience
- 7+ years of Technical Program Management or Program Management experience
- 5+ years of SAP implementation experience
- Recent greenfield SAP S/4HANA implementation experience preferred, with a proven track record of taking customers from scratch to a full solution.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Excited to work in a fast-paced environment with new challenges each week

Salary
The salary range for this role is $177,000 - $201,000, plus a competitive equity grant and comprehensive benefits package. Final compensation will be determined based on skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location as assessed during the interview process.
