This position is fully on-site at our San Jose office, five days per week.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for daily help desk requests, triaging and resolving hardware, software, and connectivity issues for all employees
  • Set up, configure, and deploy new user workstations (macOS, Windows, Linux), including standard software, security tooling, and peripheral equipment
  • Administer Okta for user provisioning, deprovisioning, MFA enrollment, application assignments, and group management
  • Manage Google Workspace accounts, groups, shared drives, and organizational unit policies
  • Troubleshoot network connectivity issues including Wi-Fi, VPN, DNS, and DHCP across office and remote environments
  • Maintain IT asset inventory, track hardware lifecycle, and coordinate equipment procurement and disposal
  • Create and maintain internal IT documentation including onboarding guides, troubleshooting runbooks, and knowledge base articles
  • Support conference room A/V equipment and video conferencing systems
  • Collaborate with the Security Engineering team on endpoint security, patch management, and access control policies

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in an IT support, help desk, or systems administration role
  • Hands-on experience with Okta or a similar identity provider (user lifecycle, SSO, MFA)
  • Working knowledge of Google Workspace administration (user management, groups, security settings)
  • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPN)
  • Experience setting up and supporting macOS and Windows endpoints in a corporate environment
  • Strong troubleshooting methodology and ability to prioritize competing requests
  • Excellent communication skills — able to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical users
  • Able to work with minimal supervision, be proactive and reliable

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Experience with MDM solutions (WorkSpaceOne, Jamf, Kandji, or Intune)
  • Familiarity with scripting or automation (Bash, Python, or PowerShell) for IT workflows
  • Exposure to cloud infrastructure (AWS) or infrastructure-as-code tools

Salary
