About Motives

Motives is an AI-powered consumer research platform. We replace weeks of traditional research with video interviews and insights delivered in 48 hours. We're a team of 6 with real traction, and we're hiring our second engineer.

The Role

(London, in-person preferred)

We're looking for a full-stack generalist (2–7 years experience) to work alongside our CTO and founding engineer. You'll ship product, not sit in meetings.

What you'll work with: Next.js, React, TypeScript, GraphQL — and a lot of AI. We're AI-first in the product we build and in how we build it.

What we're after:

• You pick up new tools fast and don't wait to be told what to do
• You're comfortable working directly with sales, customer success, and design — small team means no walls between functions
• You care about craft but ship anyway
