Founding Product Engineer

What You’ll Do

As a Product Engineer at Mosaic, you’ll work at the intersection of design, AI, and storytelling to bring new creative tools to life. You’ll build and ship user-facing features that push the boundaries of what’s possible in AI-powered video editing — from real-time workflows and interactive canvases to intelligent editing agents that understand intent.

You’ll collaborate closely with the founders and research team to translate user feedback into elegant product experiences, working across the full stack to prototype, test, and iterate quickly. Every line of code you write will directly shape how creators and teams edit video in the age of AI.

What We’re Looking For

If you care deeply about product quality, creative tooling, and fast iteration, this role is for you. We’re looking for engineers who:

• Have strong full-stack development experience (React, TypeScript, Node.js, or similar)
• Are comfortable designing and shipping quickly
• Enjoy building delightful, high-performance user experiences and interfaces
• Have experience (or strong interest) in applied AI, media, or creative tools
• Are self-directed, detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Prefer solving problems end-to-end — from idea to deployed feature
