
University Internship - Software
Job Description
Your primary mission will be to help us digitize and structure the Kenyan KCSE curriculum. You will bridge the gap between static PDF archives and our dynamic, AI-powered learning database.
Beyond data ingestion, this internship is designed to be a "choose your own adventure" experience. Once the core data is integrated, you will have the opportunity to specialize in one of the following tracks:
• Software Development: Integrating KCSE modules into our web and mobile platforms.
• Growth Marketing: Leading our go-to-market strategy to reach students across Kenya.
• AI Engineering: Refining our proprietary tutoring agents specifically for the Kenyan curriculum.
Core Responsibilities
• Data Parsing: Extracting questions, explanations, and diagrams from past KCSE exam PDFs.
• Database Management: Inputting parsed content into the Miyagi ecosystem using manual entry or automated Generative AI workflows.
• Quality Assurance: Ensuring all digitized content meets our rigorous standards for accuracy and formatting.
• Localization: Providing insights on the Kenyan educational landscape to help tailor our AI’s “voice” for local students.
What We Are Looking For
• AI Native: Familiarity with Cursor, Claude Code
• Technical: Experience with Python, Next.js, React Native
