Ex-founder - Technical, India

Responsibility

We’re looking for an ex-founder who thrives in ambiguity, moves fast, and loves owning 0→1 and 1→10 problems. You’ll partner directly with the founders to launch new product lines, streamline operations, and scale experiments across tech, growth, and GTM. If you enjoy solving hard problems, wearing multiple hats, and making things happen end-to-end, we’d love to talk.

React Native + NextJS + FastAPI + K8s

What drives success for this role:

• Experience: previous founder experience. YC experience is a strong bonus
• Full Stack: Expertise with React Native /ReactJS/ NextJS and significant experience working with any backend technology e.g. Fastapi.
• Delivery: idea, ship, iterate fast and well
• Testing/Quality: Ability to understand and debug native code as well as performance tune mobile applications.
• Communication: Strong technical and non-technical communication skills with the ability to articulate a vision to audiences of varying technical expertise and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Leadership: Track record of ownership for team-scale execution and technical excellence.

Interview Process

Our interview process is meant to have quick turnaround and precision, especially if you have some past code to share after the first call. We typically round up the process within a week or two.

1. Phone Screen

We will cover your career preferences, your overall experience in React/React Native past projects and culture-fit. There may be a round of quick technical questions immediately during the call as well.

2. Virtual Onsite: involves 3 calls as below

a. Live Programming

You will solve a practical problem in backend/frontend stack with us.

b. System Design

We will give you a product spec and you will lead the discussion to come up with the overall system design such as the system requirements and full-stack design, UX highlights and key technical solutions.

c. Culture

This will be a behavioral interview to assess your fit for cross-functional collaboration. It's typically led by a non-technical member of the team.
