We have a diverse range of challenges to tackle at Karmen, so expect to wear many hats! During your internship. You could be working on:

  • Designing and shipping new user-facing features end-to-end.
  • Developing our LLM-powered scheduling agents.
  • Improving our document processing pipeline by training computer vision models.
  • Building new integrations with construction management tools.

Who you are:

You will be a good fit at Karmen if:

  • You’re eager to take on diverse challenges and learn quickly.
  • You thrive when you have ownership over your work and outcomes.
  • You’re detail-oriented and precise. You care about ensuring correctness, especially when working on complex logic.

Qualifications

  • Studying or recently graduated in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Experience with full-stack web development using React/NextJS or a similar framework.
  • Familiarity with building applications/agents with language models.

  • Comfortable with relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
  • Familiar with Java or other object-oriented programming languages.

Why work with us:

  • High ownership: you’ll work on real features, not side projects.
  • Strong mentorship from founders.
  • Flexible remote or hybrid work options.
  • Tangible impact: your work directly influences how real infrastructure and construction projects get built.

The Interview Process

  • Introductory call with CTO (30-45 mins)
