Working Student Engine Assembly (m/f/d)

Job Description

Mission Brief

Your Role in Our Space Mission:

  • Develop and improve AIT procedures and instructions together with technicians and design engineers under supervision of the AIT Engineering team
  • Support on the improvement of processes for AIT activities
  • Creation of assembly jigs for AIT
  • Support in continuous process improvement, ensuring knowledge-transfer to and from AIT Team
  • Participate in troubleshooting and anomaly investigation during AIT operations
  • Support handling/transfer of procedures to the MES system

Qualification Checklist

  • Enrolled student in Mechanical/Aerospace engineering, or a related field
  • Interest in hands-on work hardware
  • Willingness for occasional assembly work at different locations
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work in flexible environment
  • Team oriented
  • Fluent in English
  • Passionate about rocket flight hardware

Bonus Skills

  • Previous experience in using CAD e.g. Solidworks composer
  • Basic knowledge of propulsion system
