Underwriter, Manufacturing & Automation

We’re looking for an Underwriter to help build and manage IronGrid’s underwriting function as we launch our first program. You’ll bring a proven track record managing a book of business and apply portfolio-level underwriting judgment to a new class of manufacturing and automation risks. This role combines underwriting expertise with broker and distribution relationship management. You’ll help shape coverage, support key product decisions, and work closely with founders and external partners. It’s a strong fit for someone with deep distribution relationships and a desire to help build a modern MGA from the ground up.
