SUMMARY

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Intern to join our finance team. This internship provides a hands-on opportunity to gain practical experience in accounting practices, financial reporting, and internal controls. The ideal candidate is currently pursuing a degree in accounting, finance, or a related field and has a strong interest in learning more about corporate accounting operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist with daily accounting tasks, including accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and journal entries
• Support month-end and year-end close processes
• Prepare and maintain accounting documents and records
• Help reconcile balance sheet accounts
• Organize and file financial documents
• Perform other administrative and accounting duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

Required

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• Basic understanding of accounting principles (US GAAP preferred)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desired

• Coursework in financial accounting, managerial accounting, or auditing
