Environmental Test Technician III

Provide technical support for running test equipment in the Environmental Test Lab, not limited to thermal chambers, vibration tables, shock tables, and thermal vacuum chambers Have expertise in running multiple environmental test laboratory areas (thermal, thermal vacuum, shock, vibration) Provide training for new hires to the environmental test lab on running the equipment Set up and tear down of test equipment for each test Ensure that all work performed is properly and completely documented in preparation for QA inspection Read and interpret test procedures, process controls, schematics, wiring diagrams, specifications, drawings, manuals, blueprints, and engineering sketches Provide feedback to Engineering on quality, discrepancy identification and process and design improvements Comply with the company FOD program, tool control program, 5-S program, and all safety regulations Self-monitor work progress against area benchmarks and achieve on time delivery of all work Collaborate with test engineers to troubleshoot failures and issues derived from test data Perform other related duties, as assigned, for ensuring an efficient and effective work environment
