A fully renewable energy system is dependent on flexible demand that can adapt to the intermittent supply from wind and solar. To create this flexibility, we need to connect to and control the fast-growing demand coming from electric vehicles, heat pumps and other energy hardware.

This is what we’re doing at Enode. Our APIs power the next generation of green energy apps, reaching more than 60 million consumers worldwide.

We are backed by some of the best climate tech investors in the world, including Y Combinator, Lowercarbon Capital and Helge Lund. We already have a global presence with customers in 11 countries across Europe, US and APAC.

About the team

Connect is building integrations to an ever-growing list of energy-consuming and producing devices. The role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the future of the world's energy future. You will be leading a high-impact team that builds services and world-class APIs.

You’ll be responsible for expanding and developing the team. In addition, you’ll lead our coordination with product teams, operations teams, and other engineering teams at Enode. We’re looking for a leader with a strong background in building scalable products; we need someone comfortable in a fast-moving environment with lots of moving pieces.

You must be located between UTC+3 and UTC-2.

You will

• Manage an excellent team of engineers, helping to develop their careers with stretch projects and excellent feedback

• Provide both technical and product leadership, empowering your team to ensure high quality in both areas

• Work with engineers, product managers, and designers across the company to establish product synergies and launch great new products

• Recruit a diverse team of engineers that are amongst the best in the industry, from outreaches through to the closing process

You have

• Have managed an engineering team for 3+ years

• Have demonstrated a track record of building high-quality products and managing high-performing teams

• Thrive with a high level of autonomy and responsibility, driving impact across many different teams

• Have strong recruiting skills, with a track record of hiring new team members who are highly effective over the long term

Nice to have

• Experience building API products.
