Engineer Intern - Summer 2026

CrowdVolt is rebuilding the infrastructure for live events, starting with a marketplace for raves and electronic dance music.

We graduated from Y Combinator in 2024 and have since raised a $2.5M+ seed round. We’re growing fast and looking for a small group of high-agency interns to work directly with the founders across product, engineering, AI, and design.

About Us

CrowdVolt is a social platform built to exchange live event tickets, starting with raves & EDM shows. Our team (consisting of avid EDM fans and a well-known DJ) is focused on building the best possible experience for buying and selling tickets.

We’ve grown rapidly in New York and are expanding to new markets.

What You’ll Do

• Build product: Design, develop, and ship features across the stack (frontend, backend, and systems)
• Work on real problems: data ingestion systems, building AI agents, improving latency, and scaling infrastructure
• Own features end-to-end: from idea → design → implementation → deployment
• Shape product decisions through user feedback and data
• Support users directly and use that insight to improve the product
• Experiment fast: test ideas, iterate, and deploy quickly

Areas You Might Work In

• Frontend / Product Engineering (React, Next.js, UX polish)
• Backend / Systems (Python, APIs, Postgres)
• AI / Automation (agents, workflows, internal tooling)
• Design (Figma, UI/UX, product flows)

Qualifications

• Strong experience in React, Next.js, Python, or similar
• Have built personal projects that show taste and execution
• Curious about how systems actually work (not just using abstractions)
• Ability to move fast and figure things out independently
• Comfortable working across the stack

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with AI tools, agents, or automation
• Strong product sense or design taste
• Familiarity with Postgres, APIs, or cloud infrastructure
