CesiumAstro is redefining connectivity in aerospace with advanced communications systems for space and airborne platforms. We are seeking a Senior Technical Sourcer to play a critical role in building the talent pipelines that power our mission.
In this role, you will partner closely with recruiters and hiring leaders to identify, engage, and attract top-tier engineering talent across aerospace, defense, and advanced technology domains. You’ll bring a strategic, data-driven approach to sourcing while serving as a trusted advisor on talent market trends and competitive intelligence.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and execute targeted sourcing strategies for hard-to-fill technical roles across systems engineering, RF/communications, avionics, software, manufacturing, and other aerospace domains.
Build and own high-quality candidate pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
Create talent maps across key competitors, niche skill sets, and emerging talent pools.
Drive consistent delivery of highly qualified candidates for assigned roles.
Serve as a subject matter expert on aerospace and defense talent markets, including cleared talent.
Provide insights on talent availability, compensation trends, and competitive positioning.
Advise recruiters and hiring managers on effective sourcing strategies and market conditions.
Track and report on pipeline health, sourcing effectiveness, and channel performance.
Collaborate with recruiters and hiring managers to deeply understand role requirements and team needs.
Participate in intake meetings to calibrate candidate profiles and hiring strategies.
Help refine job requirements and align on candidate quality and expectations.
Proactively engage passive candidates through personalized outreach.
Conduct initial screenings to assess technical expertise, domain knowledge, and alignment with CesiumAstro’s mission.
Build strong candidate relationships and deliver an exceptional candidate experience.
JOB REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of experience in technical sourcing or recruiting, ideally within aerospace, defense, or engineering-driven industries.
Proven success sourcing for niche, hard-to-fill technical roles.
Strong understanding of aerospace and defense roles (e.g., systems engineering, avionics, RF, software, manufacturing).
Familiarity with U.S. security clearances and related hiring considerations.
Expertise in sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, SeekOut, or similar platforms.
Experience with ATS and CRM systems (e.g., Greenhouse, Lever, Workday).
Strong analytical skills with the ability to track and interpret sourcing data.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Ability to manage multiple searches and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
