In this role, you will contribute to the full lifecycle design and implementation of board-level and system-level electronics hardware for advanced RF communication systems. We are seeking an Electrical Design Engineer I who is early in their career and passionate about engineering. This position offers the opportunity to develop core engineering skills while working alongside a highly experienced team in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
JOB REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor of Science (BS) degree or higher in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
Industry experience in board-level electronics design, analysis, and test.
Strong EE fundamentals.
Working knowledge of adjacent fields, such as software and mechanical.
Experience with lab equipment including oscilloscopes, power supplies, multi meters, or logic analyzers.
Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
Ability to ask questions and implement feedback.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
PCB layout experience using tools such as Altium, Cadence, or KiCAD. (Altium preferred)
Experience delivering subcircuit or board designs to production and deployment.
Own key portions of the end-to-end electronics design process, from concept and architecture through schematic, layout, test, and production.
Experience using LTSpice for circuit and/or system level simulations.
Experience implementing microcontrollers or FPGAs into designs.
Complete analysis such as worst-case circuit analysis, signal integrity analysis, and power integrity analysis.
Develop bring-up plans and design verification plans for new circuit elements.
