Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Tool & Fixture Specialist (Level B or C) to support the Tooling team in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Position Responsibilities:   

• Performs routine tool set up activities

• Makes minor repairs. Performs manufacture, assembly and fabrication of tools

• Operates various factory support equipment to move materials and tools as required

•  Provides tooling support to other organizations

• Assists in determining fabrication and assembly processes for the design

•  Assists in reverse engineering design and fabrication processes for parts

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

• Must have a current valid driver’s license

• 1+ year of experience with tool set-up and/or maintenance

• 1+ year of work experience operating forklifts and electric pallet jacks

• 1+ year of work experience operating hand tools

• 1+ year of experience repairing, maintaining, construction, and/or the inspection of tools, dies, jigs, power feed, etc

• Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time (6+ hours)

• Must be able to carry and lift to 25 pounds

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• 3+ years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

•  Experience working in a manufacturing environment

• Experience with Laser Tracker and/or Romer Arm measuring equipment

• Experience with Spatial Analyzer (SA) software

• Experience operating CNC Mill

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary Pay Range for Level B: 61,200 –74,800

Summary Pay Range for Level C: $71,100 – $86,900
