The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing company is seeking a Senior Windows Server Automation Developer to join our team in Kent, WA or North Charleston, SC.
The Experienced Windows and Server Automation Developer will have hands-on expertise in Windows Server platforms (W2K16–W2K25), server administration, event/system log analysis, and Operating Systems (OS) configuration. You will also be adept at scripting and development across PowerShell, CMD, VBScript, C#, Perl/Python, and SQL with proven Visual Studio/Visual Studio (VS) Code and GIT workflow experience. You will build, test, and automate reliable deployments using Microsoft Installer Package (MSI)-based installers and OpenText Build/System Automation /Output Orchestration (BSA/OO) tooling.
We are looking for someone who will drive efficiency through release-driven packaging and rapid In-Place Upgrade (IPU) troubleshooting in Azure Development Operations (DevOps) pipelines, contribute to Boeing’s automated server build and policy lifecycle, and deliver robust, repeatable solutions.
Position Responsibilities:
Leads others to identify, evaluate and document complex computing system requirements
Leads activities to architect, design, build and test delivery systems and components
Provides technical leadership to evaluate product usability, affordability, functionality, security and performance to assess suitability for integration into delivery system environments
Provides technical support and consultation for the implementation and usage of complex delivery systems
Administrates Windows Server platforms that include event log interpretation, system log interpretation, and Operating Systems (OS) navigation to retrieve data and information
Programs basic constructions used in all languages
Installs and sets up MSIExec and MSI API to install products, updates, and patches
Understands general concepts about Server Automation (SA) tool navigation and tool properties
Packages work, initiates, and tracks User Stories (US) in Azure DevOps (ADO)
Brings the User Story through several stages which include backlog, to do, development/build, unit/integration testing, peer review, acceptance testing, and releasing/closing
Works with user stories
Troubleshoots requests
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
5+ years of experience within the Information Technology (IT) space
5+ years of experience working with Windows Server OS platform (W2K16- W2K25)
5+ years of experience with programming in C#, Powershell, SQL, .Net, and Python
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience working with OpenText SA

Summary pay range: $136,850 - $197,800
