We are currently seeking a passionate and highly motivated Senior Manufacturing Manager who will lead day shift operations based 100% onsite in Port Melbourne on a full-time permanent basis.
Reporting to the Director of Manufacturing, you play a key role ensuring that your team meets safety, quality, delivery, cost & innovation performance expectations in line with the One Boeing Production System.
Position Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach and develop teams and front-line managers from multiple Manufacturing disciplines
- Promote and support a positive and inclusive team environment
- Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
- Drive safety and quality culture and environmental stewardship
- Develop, communicate and execute integrated plans, policies and procedures and continuous improvement activities
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):
- Some exposure in a Senior Management role supporting Manufacturing or other related field
- Experience leading, managing and building cohesive teams in a manufacturing / factory environment in a large and complex organisation
- Advanced communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to engage, influence and negotiate at all levels with a wide range of stakeholders and customers to ensure program and business outcomes are met
- Experience with change management and ability to continually identify and drive the implementation of business improvements and new opportunities
- Australian Citizenship to meet Defence security clearance requirements
Additional Information:
This is a Non-Enterprise Agreement role IJC DAKUML position and remuneration will be commensurate with skills and experience. The successful candidate may be required to complete pre-employment checks and a 3-month probationary period.
