The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Company is looking for a highly motivated cybersecurity professional to join our Enterprise Classified Security (ECS) Operations Support Group as a Senior Classified Security Information Technology (IT) Solutions Specialist to oversee the delivery of innovative IT services and security solutions that protect Boeing’s assets, information, and programs while meeting Enterprise Classified Security (ECS) compliance requirements and operational needs. The Senior Classified Security IT Solutions Specialist will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and management of comprehensive security solutions that support physical security, cybersecurity, and program security requirements. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and deploy secure IT services solutions and provides deep technical expertise in enterprise IT services, lifecycle support, and operational service design. The selected candidate will also help shape how enterprise applications and supporting services are structured, maintained, and improved so that the portfolio is practical, supportable, and aligned to mission needs.
Position Responsibilities:
Interpret and apply government security and data handling requirements (Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), Covered Defense Information (CDI), Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC), Risk Management Framework (RMF) and other compliance frameworks) into IT solution design and implementation
Design, develop, and implement integrated security solutions addressing physical security, cybersecurity, and program security needs
Conduct risk assessments and security evaluations to identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies
Support budgeting, planning, and lifecycle management processes for classified or mission-critical IT solutions, including Long Range Business Planning (LRBP) related activities
Collaborate with IT, facilities, and program management teams to ensure security controls are effectively integrated into systems and processes
Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and standards aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements
Provide technical expertise and guidance on security architecture, incident response, and threat mitigation
Monitor security systems and respond to security incidents, coordinating with relevant teams to resolve issues promptly
Stay current with emerging security threats, technologies, and compliance requirements
Participate in audits, compliance reviews, and program security assessments
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Successfully completed Tier 5 Investigation (T5), formerly known as a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) by the federal government within the last 5 years, or requires candidate to have been enrolled in a Continuous Vetting program within the last 5 years
Currently hold IAM Level 3 DoD 8140.01 (previously 8570.01) compliant certification (i.e. CAP, GSLC, Security+ CE, CISSP, CASP, CISM, GSLC)
10+ years of experience with cybersecurity frameworks and standards (Some Examples..NIST, DoD RMF, DISA STIGs, NISPOM, ICDs, JSIG)
Experience supporting IT portfolio management
Experience in creating risk/issue/opportunity (RIO) metrics, status reporting and executive-level briefings
Experience maintaining and/or developing Key Performance Indicators (KPI) metrics
Experience working in a fast-paced, mission critical environment
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
10+ years of experience utilizing security relevant tools, systems, and applications in support of Risk Management Framework (RMF) to include: NESSUS, ACAS, DISA STIGs, SCAP, Audit Reduction, and HBSS
Experience developing strategic technology roadmaps aligned with mission and organizational objectives
Experience with integrating multiple complex security technologies
Experience with security threat modeling tools and processes
Experience with project management in a leadership capacity
Experience developing and managing strong relationships with partners (internal & external) and government customers and representatives
Experience working with government agencies in a compliance capacity
Familiarity with cryptographic technologies and secure communication protocols
Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
