The Boeing CompanyBoeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Phantom Works is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to join the Global Sales & Marketing (GS&M)
Advanced Mobility Surveillance and Bombers Capture team in Saint Louis, MO.
This role will specifically focus on Future Technology Programs and requires a deep understanding of USAF mobility and air refueling missions and employment processes to support the development and understanding future capabilities and requirements.
Position Responsibilities:
- Manages employees and mid-level managers planning, developing and managing sales and marketing campaign
- Develops and executes integrated organizational plans, policies and procedures and guides the development of business and technical strategies, goals, objectives
- Acquires resources for organizational activities, may provide technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
- Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
- Manages, develops and motivates employees and mid-level managers
- Exhibits and leads team members with Boeing’s Values and Behaviors in all aspects of performance
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor's degree or higher
10+ years of experience working with the US Department of Defense (DoD)
10+ years of experience in the aerospace and defense industry
5+ years of leadership or project management experience
5+ years of experience with COCOM or USAF MAJCOM to include Joint Mission Planning and Execution, Operations and Long-Range Planning roles
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Existing special program access clearance(s)
3+ years of experience working with USAF Weapons School in decision-making position
3+ years of experience building, developing, and maintaining customer relationships
3+ years of experience developing tailored DoD products to include new business strategies for Advanced Mobility requirements and capabilities

Position may require travel up to 25% of the time.

Summary pay range: $191,250 - $258,750
