Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Experienced Supply Chain Management Analyst (Level 3) to join our dynamic team in New Orleans, LA.

Position Responsibilities:

• Incorporates change and planning decisions to arrive at optimal solutions
• Applies Supply Chain Management (SCM) methodologies to ensure coordination in the global supply chain
• Analyzes complex material requirements
• Verifies and incorporates Bills of Material/schedules into a production plan.
• Determines part number attributes
• Initiates, coordinates and authorizes release of orders by evaluating system requirements and resource availability
• Ensures on-time delivery
• Documents and resolves order delinquencies
• Reports schedule adherence issues
• Develops and controls inventory plans
• Optimizes inventory levels
• Analyzes and dispositions excess inventories
• Initiates audits
• Develops and creates schedules for products and services
• Assists in developing estimates and schedules for new business proposals
• Implements and maintains process improvements by analyzing and establishing best practices for materials management to improve SCM performance
• Works under general direction

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work on-site at one of the listed location options.

This position is for 1st shift.

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. 

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• More than 3 years of experience in supply chain or materials management.
• More than 3 years of experience working in a manufacturing, warehouse, shipping or customer service environment.
• More than 3 years of experience using all the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
• More than 3 years of experience in Production Control and Material Management processes.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• More than 3 years of experience working with spacecraft/aircraft factory manufacturing, quality, and inventory/production control processes and tools (planning, MRP, BOMs, and Indirect Procurement, etc.)
• More than 3 years of experience with Material Requirements Planning, including the use of Compass Contract or a similar MRP system.

Typical Education/Experience:

Typically, 6 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degrees (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred but not required.

Travel:

Position may require travel up to 25% of the time.

Summary pay range: $76,500-$94,500
