The Boeing CompanyBoeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Experienced Mech System Design & Analysis Engineer (Hydraulic Sys, Actuation & Cntl) to join our Air Dominance Team supporting Aircraft Subsystems in Berkeley, MO.
Boeing Defense Systems Air Dominance Team is responsible for production & sustainment of the F-15 Eagle & F/A-18 Super Hornet. As an Experienced Mech System Design & Analysis Engineer (Hydraulic Sys, Actuation & Cntl), the selected candidate will have direct accountability for 2D & 3D product definition related to the F-15 & F/A-18 hydraulic & fuel subsystem installations.
Team members will work with cross-functional teams including representatives in Design, Tubing Mock-Up, Manufacturing Engineering, Materials & Processes, Strength Analysis, Liaison Engineering, Quality Engineering, & Program Management. The candidate must be able to provide technical direction with respect to investigation & resolution of tubing fit issues as well as tubing validation.

Position Responsibilities:
Support the development and documentation of mechanical and fluid system requirements to establish the system design.
Support the development, maintenance or modification of system, component and installation designs/proposals to provide design documentation to downstream groups.
Perform and document analyses to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications.
Support system components' designs/proposals standards to provide installation and detail documentation.
Train others. Work under general direction.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus on Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace Aeronautical or Material Sciences)
5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience
3 or more years 3D solid modeling experience
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
3D solid modeling experience in NX
Mechanical router experience in NX
Hydraulic tubing, fitting, & clamp/ support system familiarity
Interface Control Model development experience
3D scanning & reconciliation familiarity
Investigation & resolution of tubing fit issues/ RCCA
