Government Property, Materials Management & Transportation Senior Leader

The Boeing Company is looking for a Government Property, Materials Management & Transportation Senior Leader to join our Boeing Test & Evaluation team supporting Air Dominance, Phantom Works & Weapons programs in Berkeley, MO; China Lake, CA; Eglin AFB, FL; or Patuxent River, MD. The selected candidate will lead an inclusive team of materials and government property management first line leaders and individual contributors across multiple BT&E field operating sites in support of flight test activities.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Effectively interact with program leadership, customer stakeholders, and business unit partners

  • Responsible for setting up new program support requirements to include systems, tools and staffing

  • Knowledgeable of MMAS (material management accounting system) and GPM (government property management) policies and procedures

  • Ensures compliance to FAR business system requirements

  • Supports enterprise level GPM planning and oversight

  • Responsible for leading and implementing effective RCCA’s (root cause corrective action)

  • Responsible for inventory management, procurement, milstripping, PHS&T, disposition processing, disposal - lifecycle management of company and government property, tool rooms

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher

  • 5+ years of experience with Materials Management and Inventory in relation to Government and Capital property

  • 3+ years of experience leading and/or managing a team

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Knowledge of inventory management systems to include GOLD, SAP, and acquisitions systems such as purchasing cards and non-MRP acquisition

  • Experience working with Government DCMA representatives

  • Active security clearance

Summary Pay Range Level MM: $167,450 – $242,650

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
