Position Overview:

Boeing India Indirect Supply Chain team is currently looking for a highly skilled Indirect Supply Chain Procurement, Sourcing and Contracting Experienced Procurement Agent – Information Technology supporting the Information Digital Technology & Security to join their team in Bangalore , India.

This will be an individual contributor position in a growing global organization. The individual will partner with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to expand Indirect Supply Chain delivery model while ensuring service delivery excellence to all business partners.

The ideal candidate shall have desired to work in a dynamic, fast-paced business environment.

Candidate is required to be flexible to be able to accommodate business requirements that span multiple time zones and may require to do occasional travel. Candidate having prior International/Global experience and working with diverse groups of people and cultures.

Position Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate proficiency and determination in managing complex Information Technology projects at all project phases, including contracting.

• Provide oversight and proactive management of supply and demand, schedules, delivery and financial performance.

• Ability to understand different Statement of work and delivery models in contracting (Fixed Price, Time and Materials, Cost Incentive, Cost Sharing, etc.)

• Lead cross-functional teams to create long term value through sourcing processes and governance, resolve supplier performance.

• Support development of category strategies and drive continuous improvement for assigned IT categories in collaboration with category management.

• Ability to develop and evaluate commercial models (TCO, Buy vs Build vs Lease) to support sourcing recommendations and cost optimization targets.

• Lead the negotiation of Pricing and Contract terms and conditions with full competence and decision making for assigned IT categories, in alignment with approved sourcing and negotiation strategies.

• Ability to draft and structure IT contracts, statement of work and commercial schedules, in collaboration with legal.

• Deliver measurable cost savings, risk reduction and service improvements across assigned IT categories through planning and execution of sourcing, bid support, supplier management and risk management activities.

• Maintain relationships with key suppliers and ensure required performance and contractual obligations are met, while incorporating innovative improvement initiatives.

• Strong team player with willingness to collaborate in a diverse team environment.

• Ability to demonstrate skills in critical reasoning, analytics and process design / development.

Core Skills & Competencies:

• IT Domain Sourcing Expertise: Strong hands-on experience sourcing software, SaaS, IT services, network devices, Video Teleconferencing, telecom, and support contracts (AMCs), with deep understanding of IT-specific commercial and licensing models.

• End-to-End Sourcing Execution: Lead RFx development, supplier evaluation, negotiations, and award recommendations in line with approved sourcing strategies and governance.

• Commercial & Contract Negotiation: Negotiate pricing, licensing terms, SLAs, payment terms, risk, and contractual clauses (not limited to) Indemnification, Limitation of Liability, Data Privacy, Cyber security & Data protection and Service Level Agreements (SLA’s),  across IT contracts.

• Contract & Supplier Management: Draft, award and Manage IT contracts, AMCs, and supplier performance through SLAs, KPIs, and governance reviews.

• Financial & Cost Management: Evaluate TCO, Buy vs Build vs Lease scenarios, and identify cost optimization opportunities across IT spend.

• Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner effectively with IT, Finance, Legal, and business stakeholders to deliver timely sourcing outcomes.

• Risk & Compliance Awareness: Ensure compliance with data privacy, cybersecurity, and contractual risk requirements in IT sourcing.

• Analytical & Delivery Focus: Strong analytical skills to evaluate supplier market and offer insights (like market size, projected growth, competitors, industry trends, estimated ROI) with the ability to manage multiple sourcing initiatives and deliver results within timelines.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 8+ years of total experience  into Procurement & Contracting working with Global Stakeholders handling Indirect Information Technology & Data Analytics categories.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor’s/master’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, Computer Applications, Information technology is preferred.

Typical Education & Experience:

• Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 8 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+ 7 years' related work experience).
