MRO Manufacturing Engineering LTA- Structural Engineer

Job Description:

An opportunity for a Manufacturing Engineer has arisen within Airbus Defense & Space in Sevilla. The selected candidate will join to MRO team of LTA/Combat/Harrier/MRTT/EFA.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform Manufacturin Engineering tasks in area of LTA MRO (C295 and CN235). Your main tasks and responsabilities are:

• Optimization of current maintenance process for LTA aircrafts

• Provide shop floor support in order to solve issues during maintenance process. (mechanical and structural repair).

• Work with the Material Review Board (MRB). Disposition to defects (structural ones).

• Collaboration with technical design office to provide solution to structural repairs.

• To be part of multi functional team, to solve all issues come up in MRO.

• Manufacturing structure and process, associated domunentation (work order, technical instruction, job card…), updated process.

• Assess and adapt new technologies to cover the needs and requirements of the business lines.

• Product configuration awareness.

• Future business requirements.

SKILLS

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

• Education: degree level (or equivalent) in engineering or a related discipline.

• Experience in Manufacturing or MRO will be possitive evaluated. At least 5 -10 years of experience in technical areas (Manufacturing engineering or design). Important: experience in structural repair.

• Languages: English and Spanish must be negotiation level, written and spoken.

• Technical knowledge: Pelicano plus

• MRO : experience in MRO/Part 145, as well as knowledge in Pelicano and PERAM 145 training would be valued as a plus.

• Soft skills: able to work under pressure and in a changing environment / proactive attitude and able to work in a changing environment / strong interpersonal and communication skills / with desire to learn.
