Visolis

At Visolis, our technology integrates synthetic biology and chemical catalysis to manufacture a diverse portfolio of critical chemicals and fuels. By combining biological precision with scalable chemical processes, we enable the production of both drop-in commodity chemicals and innovative specialty products. This unique approach provides a foundation for efficient and cost-effective production at scale. Visolis is located in Hayward, CA with close collaborations with Lawrence Berkeley National Lab, Pacific Northwest National Lab and University of California, Berkeley. We have received funding from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, US Department of Energy, the National Science Foundation and the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
