About the Company
We are building a Visual Position System that is 10x lighter and cheaper than the nearest competitor. We have paying customers in the US DoD 6mo after starting the company. We enable rapid outfitting of any drone for autonomous navigation in contested environments.
Tech Stack
Our software combines VIO with feature matching to output a robust location estimation (there are many fundamental similarities between parts of our stack and SLAM). Everything needs to run on embedded (ARM) processors and be very lightweight.
Founders
Sacha Lévy is Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer of Theseus Technology Corporation, where he develops visual navigation systems that enable drones to operate autonomously without GPS. Before founding Theseus, he was a PhD student in Computer Science at Yale University, where his research applied large language models to biological data and was published in top machine learning conferences. He holds a B.Eng. in Computer Engineering from McGill University.
