About the Company
Mobius is a recycling startup with the mission of creating a circular economy for electronic components like microprocessors and capacitors that were destined for the landfill (Go planet earth!). We are building advanced quality control detection ML and a B2B marketplace for components.
Excess chips get thrown away today (where they contribute heavily to heavy metal pollution) because there is no way to verify they are real. We are solving the trust problem with the first machine learning based anti-counterfeit tech and trust based platform to sell chips.
Tech Stack
We have a marketplace and a machine learning counterfeit detection technology. The marketplace is built on React and Django and the ML tech is Python with OpenCV.
Founders
Margaret is the CEO and founder of Mobius Materials, a marketplace where manufacturers can buy and sell chips quickly, safely & at market prices. Previously, she led operations at Particle, a SF based electronics company, building a 40 person multinational team that launched 170 different products and shipped millions of units. She also worked at McKinsey where she consulted on manufacturing applications and helped open an office in Kenya. Margaret has an engineering degree from Duke.
