Responsibilities:
- Ensure robots are strategically positioned to support engineering, customer initiatives, demonstrations, and deployments wherever they are needed.
- Oversee the day-to-day planning, scheduling, prioritization, and movement of robots across multiple teams, sites, and programs.
- Balance competing business priorities while maximizing fleet utilization and availability.
- Partner with engineering and cross-functional stakeholders to forecast fleet demand and align robot availability with company priorities.
- Drive fleet planning activities that support engineering milestones, testing, demonstrations, customer initiatives, and external deployments.
- Maintain organization-wide visibility into fleet readiness, availability, and allocation while communicating priorities and tradeoffs.
- Develop scalable fleet management processes that improve operational efficiency and support the continued growth of Figure’s robot fleet.
- Identify operational bottlenecks and implement process improvements that increase fleet effectiveness and execution.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience managing large fleets of robots, vehicles, industrial equipment, or other high-value operational assets in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated experience balancing competing operational priorities across multiple teams or programs.
- Strong planning, prioritization, and operational decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
- Comfortable making decisions in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment.
- Comfortable working in a hands-on robotics environment.
- Ability to travel as operational needs require.
Bonus Qualifications:
- Experience supporting robotics, automation, or advanced hardware development programs.
- Experience with fleet planning, logistics, dispatch, resource allocation, or operations planning.
- Experience building scalable operational processes within a high-growth organization.
- Passion for helping deploy the world’s most advanced humanoid robots.
