Staff Business Systems Analyst - GTM

The Information Technology Department at Boston Dynamics seeks a Business Systems Analyst to support our Professional Services Automation applications with a focus on client project management, service delivery, financial management, and customer success.  This role will partner with our Finance, Business Operations, and Global Support & Services teams to manage the client services lifecycle from sales to revenue recognition.

As a Business Systems Analyst, you will support the design, development, implementation and testing of enterprise Professional Services Automation (PSA) applications to provide Boston Dynamics with optimal flexibility and operational efficiencies.  You will work with the Enterprise Applications Team to deliver against the enterprise applications roadmap and IT strategic plan.  The Business Systems Analyst will be responsible for all phases of requirements gathering, solution design, configuration (and development), testing activities, end-user training, and application administration.  

How you will make an impact:

• Understand how Boston Dynamics operates and use this knowledge to provide a functional viewpoint for Sales, Services, and Finance applications.

• Gather and analyze business requirements, define use cases and process flows, and translate requirements to implement the PSA application stack (and later deliver enhancements) that improve efficiency and overall financial and business operations.

• Maintain deep, complex knowledge of our PSA (and related) applications to advise business stakeholders on best practices.

• Provide system administration, system configuration, project management, and technical support to all end users of Salesforce, Rootstock, and related PSA systems.

Required Skills & Experience

• Seeking 4-7 years of IT experience as a Business Analyst, or System Administrator, including requirements definition and business process mapping.

• Experience administering cloud-based PSA applications, such as Certinia, Asana, CloudCoach, NetSuite OpenAir, or Rocketlane.

• Collaborate with functional stakeholders to determine best practices and implementation of technical requirements such as exception/error handling, performance optimization and code management.

• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills; a sense of humor is a must!

• Action-oriented, “can do” attitude demonstrating willingness to accept accountability and responsibility for individual actions.

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business-related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Desirable Skills & Experience

• Knowledge and experience of Salesforce, Rootstock, Workday, Asana or Atlassian.

• Experience with Agile methodologies, such as Scrum and Kanban.

• Past experience leading the selection and implementation of a cloud-based PSA tool.

The base pay range for this position is between $101,000.00 to $127,000.00 annually. Base pay will depend on multiple individualized factors, including, but not limited to, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.  This range represents a good-faith estimate of compensation at the time of posting.
