In August 2011, Peter Nash was appointed Australian Chairman of KPMG. Peter was previously Head of Audit in Australia and the Asia Pacific region and Victorian Office Chairman. He joined KPMG in 1982 and has an outstanding reputation with extensive experience in the Asia Pacific region as well as Australia. Peter has had over 25 years of audit experience across a broad range of sectors, in particular financial services and mining. In a career that has seen him perform many different roles, Peter has previously been National Managing Partner, National Markets; National Managing Partner, People, Performance & Culture and Head of Financial Services. He is a graduate in Commerce from the University of Melbourne and an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia. He is a member of the Australian Securities and Investment Commission Standing Committee.
