Come be part of a mission, not just a job, where you can: Shape your own future, build the next big thing, and change the world.

To be eligible for this position, you must be a U.S. Person, defined as a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, Asylee, or Refugee.

_Export Control/ITAR:_ Certain roles may be subject to U.S. export control laws, requiring U.S. person status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).

**Please review the job details below.**

Reporting to the EVP and General Manager of U.S. Government (USG), Vantor seeks a commercially focused Sr. Director, USG Transformation with a primary mission to drive USG revenue growth. The Sr. Director owns the strategy and go-to-market engine for Vantor's largest and most strategic USG opportunities, partnering with the account VPs across the Intel, Defense, Air/Space, and C127 portfolios to find, shape, and close them.

This is a hands-on role at the intersection of strategy, business development, product, and government contracting. The Sr. Director translates customer requirements into offers the business can deliver, shapes the pricing and deal structures behind the largest of them, and runs the operating cadence that keeps USG leadership focused on the opportunities that matter most. The role is based in the Washington, DC area.

**Responsibilities:**

- Drive USG business development on Vantor's largest opportunities. Partner with account VPs, Account Executives, and Strategic Account Managers to build account plans and pursuit strategies for the agencies, Combatant Commands, and programs that matter most, and personally lead the strategy, executive engagement, and win planning on the biggest pursuits.
- Shape offers and deal structures on the largest pursuits. Translate customer requirements into viable product and service solutions, and work with the USG pricing lead, Product, and Finance on the pricing constructs, commercial terms, and business cases behind them, including large multi-year subscription and enterprise agreements.
- Lead deal reviews through Vantor's bid and proposal process. Own the deal desk package for strategic pursuits and secure approvals from USG, Finance, Product, and company leadership.
- Build the USG strategic narrative. Develop executive presentations, value propositions, white papers, and position papers that strengthen Vantor's standing with agency leadership, the Department of War, and Congress, including analysis that sizes the commercial remote sensing requirement and makes the case for commercial funding.
- Run the USG operating cadence. Own the calendar and facilitation of the GM-level forums (account strategy reviews, whale pipeline updates, and program deep dives) so leadership has a clear, current view of the largest opportunities and the decisions they need.
- Partner with Finance and Sales Operations on the annual operating plan, quota and account model refresh, and sales compensation design so incentives line up with the growth strategy.
- Run market, customer, and competitive analysis to inform pursuit strategy, product roadmap priorities, and company direction, and bring customer requirements back to Product and Engineering with the business case to act on them.
- Build Vantor's USG ecosystem of senior advisors and partners. Identify, recruit, and manage relationships with strategic advisors and teaming partners, and keep them aligned to growth priorities and equipped to support customer success.
- Act as a trusted advisor to the USG leadership team, influencing strategic decisions, driving alignment across Sales, Product, Finance, and Contracts, and helping shape the future direction of Vantor's USG business.

**Minimum Requirements:**

- US citizenship with the ability to obtain & maintain a TS/SCI clearance.
- Bachelors Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Political Science, Software Engineering, Earth Sciences, Geospatial Engineering).
