TrueBiz is a merchant risk intelligence platform used by the world’s largest payments companies, fintechs, banks, and marketplaces to understand who they’re doing business with.
We deliver 250+ risk signals on any business in under 30 seconds via API, helping risk, underwriting, compliance, and fraud teams review merchants faster, identify hidden risk, and monitor portfolios over time.
We’re a lean, revenue-generating team serving enterprise customers in payments and financial services. We’re looking for an Outbound Growth Lead to build the outbound engine that helps us scale.
Why This Role Exists
TrueBiz sells into a specific, high-value market with complex buying committees and large enterprise opportunities.
This role is not about spray-and-pray outbound. It is about building a high-touch, signal-driven outbound motion that can operate at scale: identifying the right accounts, understanding why they matter, finding the right trigger, and creating campaigns that feel specific, timely, and relevant.
You will own the system that turns market signals into qualified pipeline.
What You’ll Own
High-touch enterprise outbound
Build and manage TrueBiz’s outbound engine across target accounts, personas, and use cases.
You will:
- Identify high-fit accounts across payments, fintech, banking, marketplaces, and merchant services
- Build segmented account lists based on ICP, business model, risk profile, geography, and likely pain points
- Create tailored campaigns for risk, underwriting, fraud, compliance, product, and operations leaders
- Write and test sharp outbound messaging across email, LinkedIn, and other channels
- Partner with sales to convert high-intent accounts into qualified meetings and pipeline
- Find creative ways to engage with target leads outside of generic emails
Intent signals and account research
Develop a repeatable process for finding accounts that are likely to be in-market. The goal is to move from generic outbound to high-context, signal-driven outreach.
You will monitor and act on signals such as:
- Hiring activity in risk, fraud, compliance, underwriting, merchant onboarding, or payments operations
- New product launches, geographic expansion, funding, or payment volume growth
- Regulatory, compliance, fraud, or chargeback-related events
- Conference attendance, sponsorships, speaker lists, and industry activity
- Website visitors and engagement with TrueBiz content
Enrichment, messaging, and campaign execution
Turn raw company signals into campaigns that feel specific and credible.
You will:
- Enrich target accounts with firmographic data
- Identify relevant contacts and buying committee members
- Research account-specific risk, underwriting, compliance, or fraud priorities
- Create account briefs and campaign angles
- Build outbound sequences by segment, persona, and trigger
- Test messaging around core TrueBiz use cases
- Track reply rates, meeting conversion, opportunity creation, and pipeline influence
What Success Looks Like
Consistently opening net new enterprise opportunities for the sales team to close.
In your first 90 days, you will:
- Understand TrueBiz’s ICP, product, customers, competitors, and core use cases
- Audit our current outbound motion, CRM, tooling, messaging, and target account lists
- Build a prioritized account list across key segments
- Launch signal-driven outbound campaigns across priority personas and use cases
- Establish a repeatable workflow for signal capture, account enrichment, campaign creation, and sales handoff
- Generate qualified meetings with high-fit enterprise accounts
Within 6 months, you will own a predictable outbound motion that consistently creates qualified pipeline from high-value accounts.
You Might Be a Fit If
- You have built or operated outbound demand generation for a B2B SaaS company
- You can write specific, high-context outbound copy that does not sound generic
- You are AI-native and constantly look for ways to use AI to scale research, enrichment, personalization, campaign testing, and workflow automation
- You are comfortable in a small team where the playbook is still being built
What We’re Looking For
Required
- Experience in demand generation, growth, outbound marketing, sales development, or revenue operations
- Experience building outbound campaigns for B2B SaaS, fintech, payments, risk, compliance, or data products
- Strong writing and research skills
- Comfort working with enrichment tools, intent data, lead databases
- Ability to operate independently with limited structure
Nice to Have
- Experience selling to financial services companies
- Familiarity with merchant risk, KYB, fraud, compliance, underwriting
- Experience with tools like Clay, HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Amplemarket, or similar platforms
- Experience building automated enrichment workflows
