About the Role

At Soff, engineers own tasks end-to-end. Every engineer is expected to be a part-time product manager. We're looking for people who want to grow and deeply care about their work!

What We're Looking For

• Full ownership — own and grow!
• Strong generalist — you're excellent on either the front end or back end, and comfortable working across the stack
• Front-end expertise with TypeScript and Next.js, including performance, UX, and clean architecture
• Back-end experience with TypeScript, building reliable, scalable systems
• Product-minded engineer who understands tradeoffs between speed, quality, and scale
• You've overcome hardships in life.

What You'll Do

• Build and own entire parts of the product
• Design, implement, and ship features end-to-end — from UI to APIs to infrastructure
• Help optimize and scale agents, improving latency, reliability, and cost
• Ship to prod every day, multiple times, and iterate based on real user feedback
