About the role:

Behind many of life’s most important transactions — buying a house, applying for a mortgage, getting a small business loan, or refinancing a credit card — is a network of credit relationships. Setpoint provides critical infrastructure for relationships between the world’s largest banks, credit funds and capital markets counterparties. We’re building trust in this system of credit. Setpoint also uses this infrastructure to provide collateralized debt facilities to businesses. This role will focus mostly on the technology side of the business.

We are looking for a Staff Accountant to join our team!

What you’ll do:

Work closely with Setpoint’s Accounting Manager and accounting team to manage Setpoint’s accounting processes and month-end close
Track and categorize Setpoint’s banking activity and perform monthly bank reconciliations
Coordinate with Setpoint’s Engineering and Product teams to ensure accurate customer billing and reporting
Collaborate with Setpoint department heads to ensure that all expenses are reported timely and categorized appropriately
Interact with customers and vendors to ensure timely collections and payments

You should have:

2-3 years of experience as a Staff Accountant, Audit Associate, or similar position
Experience in tech or fintech (nice to have)
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Ability to prioritize appropriately and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Experience with NetSuite is preferred
Experience with Expensify and Maxio is a plus
