Roundabout Technologies builds AI-powered traffic lights 🚦 that reduce wait times and improve safety. Your job will be to contact potential customers, learn about them, explain the product to them, and book follow up meetings for deeper dives with our team.

This primarily happens over the phone ☎️ ☎️ . You will be making lots and lots of phone calls.

You’ll work side-by-side in person with our CEO out of our SF office and iterate quickly.

Logistics

This internship starts in early August, is 10-30 hours/week based on availability (we will discuss when to schedule those hours before hiring and establish a routine), and will last 1-3 months.

In-person in SF close to the Montgomery and Embarcadero Bart stations.

Ongoing part time work is an open possibility, as is a full-time offer in Summer 2027.

It’s very open ended because there are lots of ways to be a good applicant to this job, but it’s a very important question. To better answer the question, it will be very helpful to watch the 1-minute video on our homepage and learn a bit about what our product does.

Some directions you could take it:

• Maybe you’re a charismatic communicator and can point to some reasons why
• Maybe you’ll be able to understand and communicate what the product does because of what you’re studying or projects you’ve done
• Maybe you’ll be great at communicating with civil engineers or city government workers because of some experiences you’ve had

There will be one phone interview with a possible second round; you’ll get more details on the format of this phone interview if we decide to interview you.
