This role will provide Operations and Maintenance support to Facilities, equipment, buildings, and grounds. You will utilize technical, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills while working with the entire Facilities Operations and Maintenance department, performing general, preventive, and emergency maintenance duties as needed and assigned.

Responsibilities
Perform routine facility system inspections and assist in facility maintenance tasks
Build desks and other office and lab furniture
Maintain a safe, well-organized and well-stocked work environment
Perform weekly inventory counts on facility supplies, snacks, drinks and office supplies
Ensure first aid boxes and office supply cabinets are kept stocked
Be an active team member of the Emergency Response, EH&S, and Security Awareness teams
Occasional after-hours and weekend evolutions
Be a champion of Pivotal’s distinctive company culture
Qualifications
Previous hands-on maintenance or builder role
Good judgment, ability to make sound independent decisions and know when to escalate
Ability to multitask and reprioritize work orders, using best judgment
Proven ability to notice the small thing and demonstrate an attention to detail
Clean driving record
Good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization
Proven time management and problem-solving skills
Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
Highly collaborative and team oriented
High level of proficiency with a variety of hand tools
High school diploma
Clean driving record
