Our team spans the globe, and we love coming together to solve hard problems and celebrate our wins. ❤️ ### 💻 What we're looking for We're exhibiting at **FATE, the Finance & Accounting Tech Expo**, at the Javits Center in New York, and we're looking for one sharp, outgoing **Startup Expo Ambassador** to be the first face finance leaders meet at our booth. **A strong fit for accounting, finance or business students** who want two days on the expo floor with the CFOs, controllers and finance leaders they may one day work for. ### 📅 The engagement - **Nov 17 (Tue):** on site at the Javits Center, about 12pm to 4pm: help our team set up the booth, then a briefing on our product, key messages and lead capture - **Nov 18 (Wed):** on site at the Javits Center, 7:30am to 6:30pm (doors open to attendees at 8am) - **Nov 19 (Thu):** on site, 7:30am to about 3:30pm (doors open at 8am, expo closes 2:30pm, then booth teardown) - **You must be available for the full hours on all three days.** Please check your class schedule before applying. - **Type:** independent contractor (1099). One-time, non-exclusive ### 💵 Pay - **$750 fixed fee** for the engagement (about $33/hr), paid within 7 days of the event - **Plus $25 for each qualified meeting you book** that our team accepts, up to $250 ### 💪 What you'll deliver - Greet attendees, start conversations and explain in plain language what Peakflo does - Ask a few qualifying questions, then capture each lead accurately in our lead form, with notes - Hand qualified visitors to the Peakflo team (who will be at the booth with you) for demos, and book follow-up meetings - Help assemble and set up the booth on Nov 17, get it ready each morning, keep collateral stocked, and help pack down on the last day ### 🙂 What you get beyond the fee - Two days talking with finance leaders at one of the industry's main tech expos - A Y Combinator company on your resume - A LinkedIn recommendation from our founders if you do great work ### 🕵️‍♀️ You're a fit if you - Have worked a booth, trade show, brand activation, campus ambassador program, retail or hospitality floor - Are comfortable approaching strangers and can learn a product quickly - Are reliable and on time. We can't replace you mid-event - Are authorized to work in the U.S. now. We can't sponsor visas - Can get to the Javits Center yourself. We don't cover travel or lodging - Are comfortable on your feet all day and lifting booth materials of up to about 25 lb **➕ Nice to have:** accounting or finance coursework, B2B, SaaS or fintech exposure, or experience with a CRM or lead-scanning app. ### 📝 How to apply Apply by **Nov 6** with your resume and two lines on the last event you worked.
