About the role

Our Solutions Consultants are trusted advisors, commercial partners and problem solvers. They play a pivotal role in helping customers envision a better way to run finance while enabling Light to win complex opportunities.

They’re also a key part of our Revenue Enablement strategy - partnering closely with Account Executives to lead discovery, solution design, technical demonstrations and product evaluations. Working at the intersection of Sales, Product and Engineering, you'll translate complex customer challenges into compelling solutions that create value for customers and drive revenue for the business.

What you'll do

• Become a trusted advisor on Light's platform, finance workflows and technical capabilities.

• Partner with Account Executives to shape winning strategies for complex sales opportunities.

• Lead technical discovery, solution design and tailored product demonstrations.

• Design scalable implementation and integration approaches aligned to customer requirements.

• Lead technical evaluations, proofs of concept, RFPs and security reviews.

• Build trusted relationships with finance, IT and executive stakeholders throughout the buying journey.

• Partner with Product and Engineering to influence the roadmap through customer insight.

  
  

What we're looking for

• Self starter - experience building processes and best practices from scratch.

• 3+ years in Solutions Consulting, Technical Pre-Sales for ERP, Finance or SaaS software.

• Commercially minded with a genuine passion for helping customers solve meaningful business problems.

• Strong accounting or finance domain knowledge, with experience supporting complex business processes.

• Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence both business and technical audiences.

• Experience with enterprise software implementations, integrations and solution architecture.

• Ambitious, curious and proactive—you enjoy ownership, thrive in fast-moving environments, and see every customer engagement as an opportunity to create value.

• Practical experience using AI and emerging technologies to improve productivity and customer outcomes.

  
  

What we're looking for:

• Experience with NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics or similar ERP platforms.

• ERP migration or finance transformation experience.

• ACA, CIMA, equivalent qualifications also desired but not required
