Founding Backend Engineer

We're looking for a founding backend engineer to build the distributed systems that power our AI employees. From day one you'll own real systems and shape the future of Jarmin.

In any given week you'll be:

• Designing and building complex backend systems and distributed infrastructure
• Building the orchestration layer that runs our agents
• Making decisions on reliability, performance, and data flow
• Putting out whatever fire just flared up
• Building internal tools so the whole team moves faster
• Hacking quick prototypes to find out if they're useful

Ideally you:

• Have deep experience with backend and distributed systems
• Turn vague problems into clear action items
• Ship code constantly
• Geek out on the newest AI tech/trends/ideas
• Enjoy diving into problems you've never seen before
• Hold a high bar and own the quality of everything you touch
• Love in-person team culture (we're in San Francisco)
