What You Will Be Doing:
As a Lead Production Technician, you will oversee the assembly of Helion's subassemblies (or module assembly lines) on 2nd shift - 2:00pm to 10:30pm, Monday - Friday. You will help deliver hardware and coach fellow technicians on the Production Team. You will report directly to one of our Production Supervisors at our Everett, WA office.
This position reports directly to the Production Supervisor and serves as the primary point of contact for technicians during daily operations.
You Will:
Collaborate with a versatile team to assemble, test, and troubleshoot electromechanical components
Be the first line of defense for troubleshooting issues on the production floor, directly supporting technicians or coordinating with experts to resolve problems
Escalate persistent issues that hinder the achievement of target production rates
Develop training materials and curriculums for tooling operation, assembly procedures, scanning accuracy, quality assurance, station specific guidance
Be the primary quality assurance expert, ensuring technicians are proficient in performing required inspections, maintaining accurate inventory signals, and meeting expectations of work instruction
Manage, organize and maintain consumables, tools, and parts
Develop and enforce a 6S schedule, ensuring it is meticulously followed and maintained
Demonstrate quality of work, setting a new standard for the team
Required Skills:
1+ years of experience as an electrical/mechanical technician focused on quality, delivery, and safety in a production environment
Experience maintaining high precision and accuracy on builds with little to no direct oversight
Demonstrated proficiency with hand tools and an MES system
