Job Description

We make personalized probiotics. People who try it come back and tell their friends, so we’re growing fast every month. We’ve realized when people have heard of us and used us they love us- we just need to get in front of more pop;e. That's the job.

There's no playbook to hand you — building it is the work. In practice it looks like throwing the event, printing posters and getting them somewhere people will actually see them, DMing the artist, and sitting across from an influencer or a B2B buyer until they say yes. You'll try a bunch of things every week, most won't work, and you'll find the couple that do and go hard on them.

We're starting this as a paid one-week trial at SF minimum wage, beginning whenever you can. On September 20, whoever clearly moved the needle gets a full-time offer: $120K+ salary, real equity, and a $10K signing bonus. A week working together tells us both more than any interview, and you get to see what you'd actually be signing up for.

You'll be good at this if you're in the Bay Area, want to be out in the city making things happen rather than working from home, and you're the person who books the thing instead of just suggesting it. If you can walk up to a stranger and leave with a yes, and you'd rather do something scrappy today than something perfect next week, we want to talk. We don't care about your degree or whether you've had "growth" in a job title.

Apply and tell us about the scrappiest thing you've ever done to get people to show up or care. If it's good, we'll get you in this week.

About Gutgutgoose

Most data companies pay for their data. Ours pays for itself. Customers send us a stool sample. We sequence it, build a metabolic model of that gut, and simulate whether each probiotic strain has an open niche it can colonize. We formulate the best candidates, then re-sequence 90 days later to see what actually took hold and what changed. Each cycle gives us the baseline gut, the intervention, and the outcome. At scale, the endgame is models that predict chronic disease years before symptoms.
