Junior Product Operations – Part-Time Student
Job Description
Cloud is now one of the biggest business expenses and one of the hardest to manage.
At Finout, we’re not just shedding light on spend—we’re giving companies the power to make smarter, faster, and more strategic decisions about the cloud.
We’re trusted by brands like The New York Times, Wiz, Elastic, SiriusXM, and Lyft, and backed by top-tier investors with over $85M raised. In just 4 years, we’ve grown to 100+ people across Tel Aviv and New York—and we’re just getting started.
If you’re looking to build something big, solve real problems, and grow fast -we’d love to meet you.
We’re looking for a smart, curious, technically-minded Junior Product Operations to join our product team on a part-time basis (3 days per week).
This is an entry-level role for someone who loves data, enjoys solving complex technical problems, and isn’t afraid to get their hands dirty with SQL, dashboards, or a bit of scripting. You’ll work directly with experienced PMs and engineers on a very technical SaaS product, turning customer needs into features, defining requirements, and delivering value to real users.
This role is based in our Tel Aviv office and requires working on-site.
What you’ll do
Collaborate with PMs, engineers, and designers to define and deliver product features that help customers manage their cloud costs.
Help shape the built-in product content by building and iterating on AI agents that automate FinOps workflows — from anomaly detection to cost optimization tracking.
Learn the product development lifecycle end-to-end - from discovery and defining user stories to managing the product backlog and supporting feature delivery.
Analyze customer feedback and usage data to identify opportunities for improvement.
Support releases with QA, documentation updates, and internal enablement.
Gain exposure to the FinOps world, cloud cost data, and how large companies use Finout to run their businesses.
What you bring
You’re a current student in computer science, engineering, economics, or a related field, with at least 2–3 semesters left.
Analytical mindset and comfort working with data.
Curiosity about cloud computing, SaaS products, and how businesses make decisions with data.
Strong communication skills - you can explain technical concepts clearly in writing and conversation.
Self-starter attitude with the ability to manage your own time and tasks in a fast-moving environment.
Availability to work 3 days per week (Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday), with at least 2 days on-site at our Tel Aviv office.
Advantage:
Hands-on technical skills: familiarity with SQL, Python data analysis tools, or any coding/scripting language.
Familiarity with Finops, Cloud
Why join us
Work on a high-growth product used by engineering and finance teams around the world.
Learn from experienced PMs in a collaborative, hands-on environment.
Build real features that ship to real customers.
Be part of a team that values curiosity, problem-solving, and a bit of healthy sarcasm.
Our Values
We're a hybrid company with a big vision and a startup soul. If you’re excited to help shape the future of cloud infrastructure and join a team that cares deeply about what (and how) we build—we’d love to meet you.
